Thank you for your interest in working with The Actors Lounge Ltd (also referred to as The Actor's Lounge or TAL).
Hopefully you have visited our website www.theactorslounge.co.uk and watched our information video there too.
If you have, you will know that our mission is to make affordable, accessible acting training available to adults across the UK.
We offer Spotlight-accredited actor training for adults aged 18 and over, delivered in the evenings by freelance tutors committed to high-quality, inclusive teaching.
We run three ten-week terms per academic year. Classes take place once a week in the evenings (Monday–Thursday, 7.00pm–9.30pm).
Our structured curriculum supports complete beginners through to working professionals and each term culminates in a live performance by every group in each location.
Students may choose to follow our Spotlight-accredited training pathway, which spans six terms and provides a route into the industry and we also run advanced classes for graduates of this pathway.
Other students join us to build confidence, explore creativity, or connect with like-minded people in a supportive and inclusive environment. Our students come from a wide range of backgrounds, ages, and abilities – including individuals who may be considered vulnerable adults.
